We want to assure you that a pandemic is not among the limited exclusions (reasons a claim would not be paid) in the life insurance policies offered by Eventefi. The two primary exclusions are death by suicide within the first two years of the policy or providing untruthful information during the application process. Please refer to your policy for a complete list of exclusions.

Not with Eventefi. A medical exam helps an insurance company double-check how healthy you are. Instead, Eventefi's underwriting engine checks your health with big data and technology, which saves you time and money. We’ve partnered with third-party agencies to gather information in order to assess your risk and eligibility for various insurance policies—instead of using paperwork, medical exams, and lab tests.
If you’re in generally good health and between ages 18 and 65, a policy offered by Eventefi might be a great fit for you. In most cases, our application provides an underwriting decision instantly, so you don’t have to wait weeks to find out whether you’re approved for the coverage.
Anyone between the ages of 18 and 85 may apply for coverage.
If you get a quote or apply for a policy, we will collect information directly from you or with your authorization as described in the application. The types of information collected can vary, including your birth date, gender, zip code, and health & lifestyle information.
At Eventefi, we believe data transparency is key. We want to make sure you understand how we collect, protect, and use your data. Click here to read Eventefi’s Privacy Policy.
ABOUT LIFE INSURANCE/LIFE INSURANCE BASICS
Life insurance is a contract between an insurer and a policy owner wherein you agree to make regularly scheduled premium payments in exchange for a death benefit if you die while the policy is in force. The policy can be in force for a specific number of years or the duration of your life. When the insured dies, the policy’s named beneficiaries will receive the policy’s face value, or death benefit.
If you have a partner, children, or elderly parents who depend on you for support (financial or otherwise), then it’s a wise decision to purchase life insurance to provide them with a financial safety net, should something unexpected happen to you.
If you've made it to the end of your term and you haven't died (let's hope this is the case), then typically EITHER OF THESE two things WILL happen: The policy will simply end and you'll no longer be covered, or your insurer may allow you to convert all or a portion of the policy into permanent life insurance.
A life insurance beneficiary is the person or entity that will receive the money from your policy's death benefit when you pass away. When you purchase a life insurance policy, you choose the beneficiary of the policy. Your beneficiary may be, for example, a child or a spouse.
When you purchase a life insurance policy, you'll be given the option of designating one or multiple beneficiaries to receive a death benefit in case you pass away.
To purchase a life insurance policy on someone else, you must prove financial interest between both parties. The person you're insuring needs to participate in the application process and sign the policy.
Whole life insurance is a form of permanent life that lasts your whole life as long as you pay the policy premium. It also accumulates cash value that can be withdrawn or borrowed against while you are alive. Term Life insurance on the other hand, lasts only for a certain number of years (e.g., 10-year term, 20-year term, 30-year term)
Finding the best among different types of life insurance depends on a lot of personal factors, starting with where you are in life. The most affordable option might be a Term Life Insurance policy that allows you to choose the policy length and pay a lower premium. But if you have a family to support, it’s worth considering the lifelong coverage benefits of Whole Life Insurance. Regardless of the policy, you’ll also want to consider the financial strength of the life insurance company to make sure it will be around to pay your claim (if it comes to that).
There’s no one-size-fits-all length. If you’re looking for coverage for the duration of your life that doesn’t expire, whole life insurance is likely your best bet. If you want coverage over a specific time period, especially a financially demanding one, term life insurance is a good option.
If you are purchasing term life insurance, it's recommended to choose a term length that covers your family for the number of years they would depend on you. When it comes to determining your term length, you may want a term that covers your family until:
- You retire
- Your children are grown and are no longer dependents
- Your mortgage is paid off
- You reach your savings goals
You have two options. You can add a policy offered by Eventefi (and manage two policies from different companies) or you can replace the one you already have with an Eventefi Policy. Keep in mind that adding too much life insurance from separate companies may make your application ineligible for additional coverage. Replacing insurance can be a little tricky but our enrollment application will walk you through everything you need to do.
With Eventefi, it is possible to receive hassle-free insurance protection the same day you apply.
It depends on the severity of the health issue. Generally, if you haven’t been medically diagnosed or medically treated or tested positive for a serious medical condition, then you may be eligible to get life insurance with Eventefi.
Eventefi and its parent company, United Schools Associates (USA) have an A+ BBB (Better Business Bureau) rating and hundreds of 5-star reviews from satisfied clients. These ratings are important because companies that have a high rating with the BBB are more likely to provide good customer service, resolve complaints in a timely manner, and be transparent with their practices.
It is against the law to buy life insurance on someone else without their knowledge. And at this time, Eventefi’s online application is unable to verify their knowledge.
MANAGING MY POLICY
If you cancel your policy, insurance will typically end on the day you have signed a surrender form unless indicated differently by the carrier.
Your coverage continues during the grace period. If you were to pass away during this time, your beneficiary could file a claim and possibly receive the death benefit minus the unpaid premiums. At the end of your grace period, you would receive a letter in the mail letting you know that your coverage had ended.
If you decide to cancel your policy, give us a call at 83-EVENTEFI – (833-836-8334) and a Customer Care Advisor will walk you through the process in detail. This may not apply in some states.
